In 2011, Dieter Baelden joined Belfius where they began as a Senior Portfolio Manager in Fixed Income. Dieter later took on leadership roles including Head of Non-Core Portfolios, Head of Structuring & Investment Portfolios, and Head of Sales & Structuring Financial Markets. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Structuring Financial Markets - Senior Executive at Belfius. In this role, they manage four teams of financial market professionals, focusing on structured products, equity solutions, structured finance, and data intelligence.

In 2002, Dieter enrolled in the CFA Institute and completed a Chartered Financial Analyst degree in finance, which they successfully completed in 2004. This program focused on enhancing their expertise and skills in the field of finance.

Additionally, Dieter Baelden pursued further professional development and obtained a Certificate in ESG Investing, which was awarded to him in June 2023 by the CFA Institute.
