Els Maes

Els Maes has over 25 years of experience in communications and marketing, currently serving as the Head of Internal Communications at Belfius since June 2007. In addition to this role, Els also holds positions as Head of Marketing Communications for Wealth, Enterprises & Public and Head of Global Information Management, Web and Editorial Office at Belfius. Prior to joining Belfius, Els worked at Dexia Bank as Verantwoordelijke Intranet from January 1997 to June 2007 and gained experience as Advertising Sales Manager at Krantengroep De Standaard from August 1994 to December 1996. Els holds a Master’s Degree in Communication from KU Leuven, earned between 1987 and 1991.
