Geert Verschueren

Geert Verschueren has extensive experience in corporate banking, currently serving as Director of Corporate Banking at Belfius since March 2012, previously holding the position of Deputy Director for the Antwerp, Maritime & Utility Desk. Prior to this role, Geert worked at Dexia from September 2008 to March 2012, initially as Head of the Maritime Business Desk and later as Senior Corporate Banker. Geert's career in banking began at KBC Bank & Verzekering from September 1996 to August 2008, where responsibilities included Relationship Manager and Analyst/Advisor in the International Credit Department. Geert Verschueren’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp, a Master class in Export Management from Antwerp Management School, and further studies at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management from 2018 to 2020.
