Pieter Christiaens

Pieter Christiaens is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in real estate and project finance. Currently serving as Manager of Real Estate & Project Finance at Belfius since September 2019, Pieter has also held positions as Senior Advisor and Senior Corporate Banker within the same institution. Prior to Belfius, Pieter worked at ING Belgium for nearly eleven years, taking on various roles including Relationship Manager for Real Estate Finance, Credit Risk Analyst for Midcorporates, Cost Controller, and Business Analyst in the retail sector. Pieter's educational background includes a Postgraduate degree in Real Estate Management from KU Leuven, a Master's degree in Business Economics from VLEKHO Business School Brussel, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg.
