Tom Smeyers

Tom Smeyers possesses extensive experience in portfolio and program management within the financial services industry. Currently at Belfius since May 2020, Tom focuses on roadmap and budget definition for the Loans project department, managing IT project demands, and enhancing project organization maturity. Previously, Tom served as Agile Transformation Manager and Manager of Business Architecture & Demand Management at Argenta, as well as Customer Journey Expert and Product Owner at ING. Tom's earlier roles include Program Manager for Personal Lending and Investment & Securities at ING Belgium, where responsibilities encompassed strategic direction and project delivery for major digitalization initiatives. Additional experience includes project management and consulting roles at Empact, BNP Paribas Fortis, and Accenture. Tom holds a Master's degree in Commercial Sciences from EHSAL.
