The Belgian Federal Science Policy Office (formerly OSTC) supports the Federal museums and scientific institutes, the Belgian participation to the European Space Agency (ESA) and to other national or international organizations, finances research actions and grants, the Belgian telematics network Belnet, the Scientific and Technical Information Service (STIS), the National Conference Center, manages the coordination of science policy, the production of R&D indicators and the Federal compentences in education matters.
