Belgium's 40 under 40
Pierre Gurdjian is currently the Chairman and a Member of the Board of Directors at Solvay since May 2022. Gurdjian co-founded Belgium's 40 under 40 in October 2020 and serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel and UCB, as well as at Lhoist since 2016. Gurdjian is a University Lecturer at Solvay Brussels School, teaching "The CEO Perspective" to graduate students since 2015. Additionally, Gurdjian has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Université libre de Bruxelles from January 2016 to January 2024 and held the position of Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company from 1988 to 2015. Educational credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
