Tray Hairston

Trustee at Belhaven University

Tray Hairston is currently a Trustee at Belhaven University. Tray has also worked as an attorney at Balch & Bingham LLP, where they did commercial transactions, corporate financing, and representation and formation of 501(c) non-profit corporations. Tray has also worked as a legislative advocate and law student intern at AARP, and as a Counsel & Policy Advisor at the Office of Governor Phil Bryant. In addition, they have been an Adjunct Professor at Mississippi College School of Law since 2010.

Tray Hairston graduated from Madison Central High School and then went on to Tougaloo College where they earned their B.A. in English and Philosophy, Magna Cum Laude. After that, they attended the University of Oklahoma College of Professional and Continuing Studies for economic development. Then they went on to Mississippi College School of Law for their J.D. and finally Belhaven University for their M.B.A. in business.
