Jen Wei

Jen Wei has a diverse work experience in communications and public relations. Jen began their career as a Teaching Assistant at UCLA, where they developed and taught undergraduate courses. Jen then moved on to work as a Naturalist and Key to the Sea Program for Heal the Bay, educating students on marine environmental conservation.

Jen later joined STAR Education as a Program Director and PR/Communications Assistant, where they created and developed after-school programs for K-5 students. Jen also supervised a staff of teachers and assistants.

In 2007, Jen transitioned into media relations and joined Brew Media Relations as an Account Executive, eventually becoming an Account Director. At Brew Media Relations, they built a network of journalists, industry influencers, and venture capitalists while working with world-class companies.

Jen then moved on to Illume Public Relations, where they served as a Senior Director and Vice President, managing ad tech and mobile accounts.

Currently, Jen works at Belkin International, where they have held various roles. Jen started as the Director of Global Communications and later became the Vice President of Global Communications. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Vice President of Communications and Corporate Development. In their role at Belkin International, Jen leads and develops the global PR strategy, maintains the integrity of the company's image and brand, and provides strategic counsel to internal clients. Jen also manages PR agency resources and maintains media relationships.

Throughout their career, Jen Wei has demonstrated expertise in communications, public relations, media relations, and team management.

Jen Wei pursued their education in a chronological manner. Jen first attended Monta Vista High School from 1994 to 1998. After completing high school, they enrolled at UCLA, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Environmental Science from 1998 to 2003. Following their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at UCLA and earned a Master of Science degree in Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Environmental Sciences, which they completed from 2003 to 2006. In 2008, Jen Wei enrolled in the PR Certificate program at UCLA, specializing in Public Relations with a concentration in Non-Profit Organizations, and completed the program in 2010.
