Robert Tang

Robert Tang has a wealth of experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Robert started their career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Harman International in 1995 and later joined Price Pfister as a Mechanical Engineer in 1997.

In 2000, Tang returned to Harman International as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer/Program Manager. In this role, they were responsible for converting industrial models into fully functional designs for various products, developing packaging designs, and acting as a liaison between different stakeholders in ODM projects.

Tang then joined Solteras Inc. in 2008, where they served as a Mechanical Design Engineer Manager. Their responsibilities included managing and coaching a team of mechanical engineers, optimizing the product development process, and ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers.

In 2011, Tang joined Rain Bird as a Sr. Project Engineer, where they focused on developing production test methods and fixtures, analyzing failed products, and improving automated assembly processes.

Most recently, Tang has been working at Belkin International since 2014 as a Mechanical Engineering Manager. In this role, they manage and coaches a group of mechanical engineers to develop various consumer products in multiple categories, ensuring they meet design requirements, budgets, and schedules.
