Christos Bais

Christos Bais is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace sector, currently serving as Senior Manager of FLRAA Safety & Qualification at Bell Flight since August 2024. Prior roles include Systems Engineering Lead at Joby Aviation and various management and engineering positions at Bell Flight from 2005 to 2021, focusing on the certification and safety of the Bell Model 525 aircraft. Christos has overseen critical safety documentation and certification processes, particularly in areas such as avionics, electrical systems, and flight controls. Holding a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Christos combines a strong educational background with comprehensive expertise in engineering and safety management.
