Peter Romano is an experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Bell Flight since July 2011, with an active Secret security clearance. In this role, Peter leads structural dynamics for the FARA Competitive Prototype, focusing on pylon design and component vibration qualifications. Previous positions at Bell Flight include Engineer III, II, and I, where responsibilities encompassed Nastran analysis for various aircraft models, dynamics leadership, and flight test support. Prior to Bell Flight, Peter worked as a Research Assistant at the Pennsylvania State University Applied Research Laboratory, utilizing structural intensity models and laser Doppler vibrometry for damage analysis, and as a Laboratory Assistant at Penn State University, where programming and machining expertise were developed. Peter holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Penn State University.
