Robert Barry

Principal Engineer

Robert Barry is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in nondestructive evaluation and product development for aircraft and railcar industries. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Bell Flight since May 2010, Robert has focused on nondestructive evaluation of aircraft structures and achieved the significant milestone of receiving the 13th US Patent in January 2022 for rotorcraft composite inspection techniques. Prior roles include Engineer III in the Non-Destructive Evaluation Laboratory at Bell Flight, Product Development at Trinity Industries, and Sr. Process Control Engineer at Vought Aircraft, specializing in ultrasonic nondestructive testing and quality control. Robert holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management from Dallas Baptist University and an Associate of Science in Quality Control Engineering, along with various qualifications in nondestructive testing and industrial engineering.
