Ashley Bacon

Ashley Bacon is an experienced journalist and media professional, currently serving as an Anchor and Reporter at Bell Media since October 2022. Previously, Ashley held managerial roles at Hanes Brands Australasia from February 2016 to August 2022 and worked as a Freelance Journalist for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from June 2016 to June 2017. Earlier experience includes positions as a Video Journalist and Weekend Anchor at Dougall Media, a News Anchor/Reporter at Peace River Radio Association, and an Enrolment Advisor at Pearson Embanet, where significant contributions included achieving sales targets and increasing company profit. Ashley began a career in journalism as a News Reporter for S@Y television and radio news shortly after obtaining a Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Seneca College in 2013 and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Film Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2008.
