Before their role at The Scottish Government, Hazel worked as an Economic Research Assistant at Seafish from December 2007 to December 2008. Hazel also worked as an Intermediary Support Consultant at Capita Life & Pensions from December 2006 to November 2007.
Hazel started their career at The Indigo Lighthouse Group in November 2003. Hazel held various roles within the company, including Customer Services Team Leader, Customer Service Advisor, and Bank Reconciliation Clerk (Secondment). Hazel'stenure at The Indigo Lighthouse Group lasted until December 2006.
Hazel began their professional journey as a Clinical Data Associate at PPD in May 2003, where they worked until September 2003.
