Michael Vargo

Michael Vargo is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in leadership and operations. As Chief Executive Officer at BellAir since January 2024, Vargo previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Flight Operations at Wheels Up from February 2022 to January 2024. Prior roles include General Manager, Director of Operations, and Chief Pilot at Mountain Aviation from November 2015 to February 2022, as well as Chief Pilot at Rampart Aviation, LLC from January 2009 to October 2015. Vargo began their career as a pilot at Fayard Enterprises from April 2005 to December 2008 and as a Flight Instructor at FlightGest Academy from May 2003 to March 2005, holding certifications as a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instrument Instructor (CFII).
