Mike Fitzgerald

Mike Fitzgerald has extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as a contributing writer for the St. Louis Riverfront Times since April 2017. Additionally, Mike has held a frontline sales position at IKEA United States since January 2017 and has been a newspaper reporter for the Belleville News-Democrat since July 1995, focusing on schools, local government, and veterans' affairs. Prior to this, Mike worked as a general assignment reporter at the Columbia Daily Tribune from September 1992 to July 1995, covering local government and education. Mike holds a Master's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in English from St. Louis University.
