Michael Williams

Michael Williams is a seasoned professional in sustainability and environmental management, currently serving as the Sustainability Superintendent at Bellevue Gold Limited since January 2021. Previously, as a Senior Consultant in Climate Change and Sustainability Services at EY, significant contributions included drafting the National Climate Change Policy for the Government of Nauru and enhancing the GRESB submission for Collgar Windfarm, recognized as Australia's most sustainable wind farm. Williams also held roles such as Environmental and Heritage Advisor at Artemis Resources, where successful project approvals and environmental compliance were achieved, and Environmental Advisor at Rio Tinto, with comprehensive reporting and operational work across multiple sites. Williams holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s Degree in Environmental Law from the University of Sydney and a Master’s in Environmental Science from Murdoch University, complemented by extensive involvement in corporate environmental initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
