Leland Johnson

Leland Johnson is an experienced educator with a background in science, currently serving as a Science Teacher at Bellevue Public Schools since August 2015. Prior to this role, Leland taught science at Benson High School from August 2016 to May 2019. Leland's professional experience also includes a decade-long tenure as a Compliance Officer at MM Finance, LLC, from December 2005 to August 2015, and earlier work as a Wildlife Biological Technician with the U.S. Forest Service from 2000 to 2005, where responsibilities encompassed wildlife technician duties and wildland firefighting. Leland holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Phoenix.
