Cathryn Leaver

Cathryn Leaver has extensive work experience in the education sector. Cathryn began their career as an Educator in the Mercer Island School District in 2004 and continued in the same role in the Bainbridge Island School District from 2006 to 2014. In 2014, they joined the Bellevue School District as an Assistant Principal and later became a Principal from 2016 to 2020. During their time in the Bellevue School District, they also served as the Director of Program Management for Early Learning and Special Education. Cathryn's expertise lies in providing leadership, professional development, and program management for special education programs, with a focus on evidence-based practices, assessment, instruction, program evaluation, and special education compliance.

Cathryn Leaver earned their Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Seattle Pacific University between 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Washington State University between 2000 and 2003.
