Mira Spurgeon

Mira Spurgeon is an experienced educator currently serving as a Middle School Science Teacher with Bellevue School District since August 2019. Previously, Mira held various teaching roles within the same district, including Elementary School Gifted Program Teacher and 5th Grade Science Teacher, as well as an Elementary School Teacher at Lake Washington School District. Mira also has experience as a Day Camp Director for the City of Bellevue and has worked as a Camp Counselor in the same organization. Additionally, Mira contributed to the educational development of students as a Student Teacher at Somerset Elementary School and as an ArtsBridge Fellow at Westminster College, where Mira integrated arts and mathematics. Mira possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Westminster University, earned in 2015.
