Shane Reckling

Shane Reckling has extensive experience in the automotive maintenance field, currently serving as a Journeyman Diesel Mechanic for the Bellevue School District since July 2005, where responsibilities include maintaining a fleet of 300 vehicles and performing preventive maintenance and repairs on various diesel engines. Shane also held positions as Night Lead, focusing on workload prioritization and managing mechanics' activities, and previously worked as a School Bus Driver and in loss prevention at Sears and International Kitchens, respectively. Shane's early career includes serving as a missionary and learning management skills as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Manager for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from Washington State University, an Associate’s degree in Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology from Lake Washington Technical College, and an Associate of Arts from Bellevue College.
