Jennifer Gaer

Jennifer Gaer is an experienced professional with a strong background in volunteer coordination and program management. Currently serving as the Volunteer Coordinator for Bellingham Public Schools since January 2016, Jennifer assesses volunteer needs and implements strategies for recruitment and retention. Prior to this role, Jennifer worked as an Explorer at Learn, Create, Grow in Bellingham, WA, where networking and adapting to a new career were key focuses. Jennifer held significant leadership positions at Zeno as Program Director, where partnerships grew from two to over 50 schools, and at Powerful Schools as Program Manager, overseeing a school-based mentoring program with over 400 volunteers. Jennifer also has experience in higher education as the Director of International Admissions at City University of Seattle. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Intercultural Management from the School for International Training and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the State University of NY at New Paltz.
