Kim Killian has a long and varied work experience. Kim started their career at BI-LO in 1997 as an Information Center Analyst. Kim then moved on to Banner Pharmacaps in 1999, where they worked as a Network Application Developer/Network Engineer until 2008. From 2009 to 2015, Kim worked at Honda Aircraft Company as a Lotus Notes/SharePoint Administrator and later as a Project Manager/Lead. In 2016, they joined Bellomy as a Technical Project Manager and was promoted to Senior Technical Project Manager in 2018. From 2020 to 2023, they served as the Sr. Mgr. Operational Analytics at Bellomy, and currently, they are the Director of Artificial Intelligence at the same company.
Kim Killian completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Cedarville University from 1985 to 1989. Kim then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Law from the University of Maryland from 1989 to 1993. Later, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Applied Arts and Sciences (MAAS) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, they acquired certifications including Lean/DSFF (Green Belt) Six Sigma from Aveta Business Institute in July 2013, and Project Management certification from PMP in June 2013. In 2023, they obtained certifications in Career Essentials in Generative AI from Microsoft and LinkedIn, as well as What Is Generative AI? from LinkedIn. Kim also holds certifications as a Certified Application Developer and Certified System Administrator in Lotus Notes from IBM, although the months and years of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
