Jonas Helseth

Jonas M. Helseth is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental issues and climate change policies, currently serving as Executive Director at Bellona Europa since September 2010, having previously held roles as Director, Deputy Director, Senior Advisor, and Adviser. Prior experience includes serving as Adviser on Energy, Transport & Communications for the Mission of Norway to the EU, and completing trainee positions at both the Mission of Norway and Mid Norway European Office. Jonas has also contributed to the mental health sector as an Assistant and Research Assistant at Sør-Trøndelag Psychiatric Hospital. Educational qualifications include M.A. degrees in Baltic Sea Region Studies from Turun yliopisto and Latvijas Universitate, as well as a B.A. in European Studies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Military training was completed with HM the King's Guards, where team leadership skills were developed.
