BellSouth International was a wholly-owned affiliate of BellSouth Corporation, a Fortune 100 communications services company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, serving more than 44 million customers in the United States and in 24 other countries. BellSouth International owned or managed wireless carriers in Europe and Asia, with a particular focus on Latin America (with operations in 11 Latin American countries). BellSouth was acquired by AT&T in 2006.
