Bill Durbin

Bill Durbin is a seasoned educator and administrator with a strong commitment to addressing inequities in the American educational system. Currently serving as a Partner at Bellwether since June 2017, Bill focuses on improving educational opportunities for disadvantaged children and collaborating with schools to enhance their effectiveness. Prior to this role, Bill spent two years as Chief of Schools at DSST Public Schools, leading high-performing school leaders, and held various significant positions at YES Prep Public Schools, including Superintendent-Memphis, where oversight was given to the establishment of multiple schools aimed at serving thousands of students. Bill holds an MBA from Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in English from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
