Antonetta Maxwell

Antonetta Maxwell is an experienced educator and consultant with a strong focus on literacy, special education, and mentorship. Currently serving as a Field Supervisor and Adjunct Professor at National Louis University since December 2022, Antonetta fosters positive relationships among teacher candidates, educators, and schools while providing ongoing support and strategies for effective classroom management. With a lengthy tenure at Bellwood School District 88 as an Educator and previously as Dean of Students, Antonetta has advocated for evidence-based teaching methods and special education services, emphasizing the importance of data-driven instruction for diverse learners. Additionally, Antonetta has worked as an Education Consultant with Zealful Education Services, assisting students with GED preparation and study skills. Currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Disability and Equity in Education at National Louis University, Antonetta's educational background also includes a Master’s in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education.
