Jan Baptist

Jan Baptist has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Jan started their career in 1986 as an Auditor at the Defense Contract Audit Agency, where they independently performed audits for the Department of Defense. In 1991, they joined UOP as a Sr. Financial Analyst, where they prepared monthly forecasts and budget plans for a $185M product manufacturing business unit. Jan also led revenue chain process initiatives to reduce accounts receivable and inventory.

In 2003, Jan became the Finance Director at Bellwood School District #88, managing the daily business operations for an 8-facility public school district. Jan prepared the annual budget plan and implemented a site-based budgeting process for individual school level financial reporting.

From 2009 to 2015, Jan served as the Finance Director at the Village of Broadview, overseeing fiscal operations and reducing the General Fund deficit by 50%. In 2015, they joined Bellwood School District 88 as the Director of Finance, a role they currently hold.

Jan Baptist has a Master of Business Administration degree with a field of study in Finance, General from DeVry University.
