Nicole Birkhold is an experienced marketing and graphic design professional currently serving as the Policy Director and Digital Director for the Adam Frisch for Congress campaign in Colorado. With a background in graphic design, Nicole has worked as a freelance graphic designer since 2014 and as a graphic designer at Belly Up since 2018. Previous roles include Production Artist at The Humane League, Script Writer for the XTERRA television series, and Television Host for Aspen 82. Nicole's earlier experience includes being Account Executive at Storm Mountain Media and Associate Editor for Freeskier Magazine. Nicole holds a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from Harvard Extension School and a BA in Journalism and Graphic Design from Michigan State University.

Belly Up
The Belly Up Entertainment is a leading independent concert promoter and production company based out of Greater San Diego. The Belly Up opened in Solana Beach, California, in 1974 with only a couple of mics and no stage. Over the years it became a frequent stop for legends like John Lee Hooker, Etta James, and BB King. Epic performances by Curtis Mayfield, George Clinton, The Neville Brothers, and Toots and The Maytals also are a part of the club’s early legacy. Since then, many artists have stopped by on their way up the ladder, including No Doubt, Black Eyed Peas, Mumford and Sons, Childish Gambino, and many more. Major artists have done underplays at the venue in recent years, including The Killers, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimmy Buffett, Willie Nelson, Ben Harper, Damian Marley, and Tom Jones. And, perhaps most famously, the Rolling Stones played a private event in 2015. In addition, Belly Up Entertainment promotes and programs shows at other San Diego venues including: Music Box San Diego, Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, Birch Aquarium Green Flash Concert Series, Observatory North Park, Humphrey's By the Bay, Magnolia Theater, and Rock N' Roll Marathon. The Belly Up is also affiliated with The Belly Up Aspen which opened in 2005 and has been listed as “BEST CLUBS IN AMERICA by Rolling Stone Magazine.
