Karl Sergus

Karl Sergus, CPA, currently serves as the Assistant Controller at Belmark since April 2021, where responsibilities include backing up the Controller, establishing internal controls across various companies, leading the implementation of new accounting standards, managing a team in the Accounts Receivable/Credit function, administering the 401k Plan, and spearheading process improvements. Prior to Belmark, Karl held the position of Senior Financial Analyst at Baxter International Inc., focusing on Revenue Recognition and process improvements. Previously, Karl spent several years at Warady & Davis LLP in various roles from Staff Accountant to Manager, gaining extensive experience in auditing, project management, and client relations. Karl holds a Master's Degree in Accounting and a Master's of Accountancy Science with a Leadership Emphasis from Northern Illinois University.
