Dieter Bettens

Dieter Bettens is a seasoned operations executive with extensive experience in the chocolate and confectionery industry. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Belmoca since October 2020, Dieter previously held the same position at Chocolaterie Ickx from February 2014 to September 2020. Dieter's career began at Godiva Chocolatier, where various managerial roles included Engineering and Process Engineering Manager, Industrialisation Manager, Production Manager, Supply Chain Quality Manager, and Quality Assurance Manager from October 2004 to January 2014. Prior experience includes roles as Quality System Coordinator at INVE BV and Laboratory Coordinator at Capsugel, a division of Pfizer, as well as Application Engineer at Metrohm. Dieter holds an Executive MBA from Vlerick Business School and multiple degrees in relevant fields, including a CPIM certification in Production and Inventory Management and engineering qualifications in Analytical Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry.
