Emma Nairn

Emma Nairn is an experienced educator specializing in math and science for the fifth grade. Since August 2019, Emma has taught at Belmont Day School. Prior to this, Emma served as a fifth grade math teacher at Excel Academy Charter Schools from August 2012 to August 2019, leading the fifth grade level team and managing two homerooms with a total of 58 students. Emma also taught seventh grade math at Salem Academy Charter School from August 2011 to July 2012, where Emma managed 60 students daily and a homeroom of 19 students. Emma's educational journey includes participating in a teacher training program as a MATCH Corps Member at MATCH School from August 2010 to August 2011 and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Dartmouth College in 2010.
