Lorena Kavande

Lorena Kavande is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher of Spanish at New England Innovation Academy since August 2024 and as a Substitute Teacher at Concord-Carlisle Regional High School since January 2024. With a diverse teaching background, Lorena has held positions such as Robotics, Ozbots, and Novel Engineer at Belmont Day School and Upper School Educator, Curriculum Developer, and Spanish and Performing Arts Teacher at Derby Academy. Previous roles include Assistant Head of Upper School and Middle School Spanish Teacher at The Rashi School, where curriculum development and technology integration were emphasized. Additionally, Lorena has experience as an elementary co-teacher at Belmont Hill School and as Head of Dance Department at Middlesex School. The educational foundation includes a Master of Education in Organizational Leadership from Endicott College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Education from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
