Jamie Atlas

Jamie Atlas serves as the Chair and Professor of Practice for the Fashion Programs at O'More College of Architecture & Design, Belmont University, since June 2018, overseeing the BFA Fashion Design & Merchandising Programs. This role involves curriculum development, student advising, internship coordination, faculty evaluation and hiring, budget planning, and establishing partnerships with both non-profit institutions and Fortune 500 companies. Previously, Jamie held the position of Chair for the Fashion Programs at O'More College of Design, where the BFA degree was recognized among the top in the South. Jamie's extensive retail experience includes roles as an advisor to boutiques, Direct Buyer/Merchandiser for Johnston & Murphy at Genesco, NASCAR Thunder Apparel and Headwear Buyer at Viacom, and various buying roles at Mercantile Department Stores. Jamie holds a Bachelor's of Science in Apparel Merchandising from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master's Degree in Business Education from Middle Tennessee State University.
