John Malone

John Malone is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in higher education and government auditing. Since April 2008, John Malone has served as the Assistant Vice President of Financial Operations and University Controller at Belmont University, where John Malone also held the position of Interim Controller and made contributions focused on enhancing the skills of others. Prior to this role, John Malone worked at the State of Tennessee - Office of State Audit from May 2001 to April 2008 as an Auditor, progressing to the titles of Senior Accountant and Assistant Controller. John Malone earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration from Austin Peay State University between 1998 and 2001.
