Kimbell Kornu

Kimbell Kornu serves as the Provost's Professor of Bioethics, Theology, and Christian Formation at Belmont University since July 2022. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant Professor of Medicine and Health Care Ethics at Saint Louis University from July 2015 to June 2022, and involvement in clinical fellowship and faculty positions at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from July 2013 to June 2015, focusing on Hospice and Palliative Medicine as well as Internal Medicine. Kornu began a residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from July 2009 to June 2012. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theology from the University of Nottingham, a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, a Master of Arts in Religion (MAR) from Westminster Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University.
