Jay Stone

Jay Stone has a diverse and extensive work experience in civil engineering and environmental engineering. Jay began their career in 1993 as an Environmental Engineer at GMP Associates, where they focused on wastewater, solids handling, and water treatment projects. In 2001, they joined Oceanit and worked their way up to become the Manager of the Environmental Engineering and Planning Group. There, they managed various infrastructure and environmentally sustainable projects, specializing in stormwater management, best management practices, and environmental restoration. In 2012, they joined Belt Collins Hawaii LLC as a Senior Project Manager and later became the Chief Engineer/Senior Associate. Jay was responsible for planning, design, and consulting services. In 2020, they became the Vice President/Director of Engineering at Belt Collins. Currently, Jay holds the position of Senior Associate/Civil Engineering Manager at Bowers + Kubota Consulting.

Jay Stone attended Maryknoll High School from 1984 to 1988, where they earned their High School Diploma. After that, from 1988 to 1993, Jay studied at the University of Notre Dame. During their time there, they pursued a double major in English and Civil Engineering, and successfully graduated Cum Laude with a BA/BS degree in those fields of study.
