Paula Brooke

Paula Brooke has over 20 years of work experience. Paula is currently working as the Human Resources Director at Belt Power, LLC, where they are responsible for directing projects to improve efficiency and productivity, ensuring legal compliance, and reducing liability. Prior to this, they worked as the Human Resources Director at Atlanta Beverage Company, overseeing a department of 400+ employees and leading strategic planning. Paula also served as the Human Resources Manager at Quality Service America - QS America, managing the HR department for 1200+ employees across multiple restaurant groups. Before transitioning into HR, Paula worked as a Special Education Teacher at The Lionheart School and as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at Laurel Heights Hospital and Inner Harbour Hospital After School Program. Paula began their career as a Graduate Assistant at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, working in the Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Department. Paula has a strong background in human resources management and a demonstrated ability to implement effective HR strategies to drive organizational success.

Paula Brooke obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Penn State University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Paula further pursued their education by attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Master's degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy. Additionally, in July 2021, Paula obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI.
