Robert Belcher completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, with a minor in Japanese, from the United States Naval Academy in the years 1993 to 1997. Robert then pursued further education at the Naval Postgraduate School from 2001 to 2003, earning an MBA with a focus on Financial Management and Information Technology Management. Subsequently, they attended the U.S. Naval War College from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies.
