Sherry Bishara

Sherry Bishara has a diverse range of work experience. Sherry most recently worked at Beltone Financial as the Group Chief People & Corporate Sustainability Officer starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they were a Committee Member in the FRA Board Quality Committee for empowering women initiative at the Financial Regulatory Authority FRA starting in December 2021. Sherry also served as the Board Treasurer at the Raie Misr Foundation for Development, an NGO, starting in September 2009. Sherry Bishara worked at Suez Cement – HeidelbergCement Group as the Group HR Director, Board Member, and Executive Committee Member from October 2015 to October 2022. Sherry has previous experience at Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) as the Director of Human Resources from January 2008 to October 2015, and as the Manager of Human Resources from January 1998 to February 2008. Additionally, they worked as the Manager of Personnel at National Investment Company from February 1995 to February 1998.

Sherry Bishara completed their education in two separate institutions. From 1986 to 1990, they attended Helwan University Cairo, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Commerce & Foreign Trade. In 2009 and 2010, Sherry attended Paris ESLSCA Business School, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications, including Certified Assessor from SHL, Certified Job Analyst from Korn Ferry, Certified Job Evaluator from Korn Ferry and Willis Towers Watson, and a certification in Human Resources Management from The American University in Cairo.
