Sarah Brenner

Sarah Brenner serves as the Executive Director of Schools and IB Principal at Rockford Public Schools since September 2022, focusing on K-5 education with an emphasis on inquiry, problem-solving, and whole-child education. Concurrently, Sarah holds the position of School Board President at Belvidere Community Unit School District 100 since April 2023, after previously serving as Quality Assurance Director from February 2005 to September 2022. In prior roles, Sarah has demonstrated leadership as a Principal, Director of ELL and RTI, and a teacher, while also managing various educational programs and staff development initiatives. Sarah's educational qualifications include an Ed.S. in Superintendency and Educational System Administration, along with multiple Master’s degrees in Educational Administration and Literacy Education from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s in Education from Illinois State University.
