Aritz Amasene, CFA, CQF

Aritz Amasene, CFA, CQF has 10 years of experience in the finance industry. Aritz began their career in 2005 as a Relationship Manager at Deutsche Bank, where they were responsible for revenue generation with lending, trade finance, cash management and custody products. Aritz also held a graduate trainee position in credit risk management, covering Western Europe, where they developed an understanding of credit risk, financial statement analysis and modelling skills.

In 2013, Aritz joined Itaú Unibanco as an Investment Professional, where they were responsible for the administration of structured credit, private equity and real estate investments. Aritz also held a Senior Risk Specialist role, where they were responsible for setting and monitoring credit and market risk limits.

In 2019, Aritz joined Ferratum Group as a Credit Risk Lead, where they were responsible for lending policies, scorecards and portfolio monitoring. Aritz also developed strong analytical skills and understanding of data science.

Aritz is currently a CFA Instructor at FKPartners, a position they have held since 2012. Aritz will join Belvo in 2022 as a Credit Risk Strategy Manager.

Aritz Amasene obtained their MBA in Finance, General from INSEAD in 2011. Aritz also holds two certifications, CFA from CFA Institute and CQF from CQF Institute.
