Eric Escalona González

Eric Escalona González has worked in a variety of roles in the IT industry. Eric began their career in 2014 as a Técnico de Sistemas at IMC Toys, where they were responsible for receiving, registering, and resolving first and second level incidents. Eric also prepared and maintained the company's technological equipment and checked the functionality of newly acquired software. In the same year, they became a System Administrator at Salemware, where they designed and implemented the company's physical and virtual architecture, installed and configured physical and virtual servers, and used systems such as Citrix Xen Server, Citrix Xen Center, Nagios, Glusterfs, Cassandra, and Ubuntu Server 14. Eric also took on a Prácticas como Administrador de Sistemas role at LIDL Supermercados, where they implemented, designed, and supported Windows 8.1, administered the company's ERP, and installed a complete server rack. In 2018, they joined FREE NOW as a Senior IT Technician and IT Technician, and in 2021 they began working as a Staff Engineer and Senior Information Technology Engineer at Belvo.

Eric Escalona González completed a degree in Empresa y Tecnologia from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Eric then went on to complete a Técnico Administrador de Sistemas y Redes degree from INS La Ferrería in the field of Informática, comunicaciones y servicios de asistencia from 2012 to 2014.
