Leandro Piano

Leandro Piano has over 17 years of experience in the finance and strategy industry. Leandro began their career in 2004 as a Financial Analyst at Siemens. In 2008, they joined PepsiCo as a Strategic Planning Analyst and Alcon Laboratories, Inc. as a Financial Planning Analyst and Business Intelligence. In 2012, they moved to Walmart as a Financial Planning Manager and Strategic Planning Consultant. In 2014, they joined Braskem as Global FP&A. In 2015, they became the Head of Intelligence at PagSeguro PagBank. In 2018, they joined Laureate Education, Inc. as CFO South Region. In 2019, they joined Warren Brasil as CFO and Partner. Currently, they are the VP of Finance (CFO) at Belvo, leading Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance and M&A efforts with a global team located in Brasil, Spain, Mexico and Colombia. Since joining in 2019, they have helped the company raise $56m from leading VC investors globally.

Leandro Piano has an education history that includes a Bachelor's degree in Economic Science from Pós Graduação - Faculdades Oswaldo Cruz, obtained between 2003 and 2006. In 2014, they obtained a Valuation certification from FIA Business School. Leandro then attended Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul between 2017 and 2018, studying Finance, Investment and Banking. Currently, they are on hold for their Master of Business Administration - MBA from BSP - Business School São Paulo, in the field of Executive Leadership. Additionally, they are certified as a CCF IBGC | Conselheiro Fiscal from IBGC - Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa, obtained in July 2022.
