Luiz Ricardo Takeshi Horita

Luiz Ricardo Takeshi Horita currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer, Executive Manager, and Machine Learning Engineer at BemAgro, focusing on R&D involving computer vision and machine learning for aerial image analysis in crop fields since February 2021. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Engineer and Project Leader at SIDIA - Samsung, where Luiz Ricardo took part in software development for test automation from May 2018 to February 2021, and serving as a Teacher Assistant in Computer Vision at São Carlos School of Engineering in 2017. Educational qualifications encompass a Master’s degree in Dynamic Systems from USP, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, and ongoing PhD studies in Computer Science at ICMC - USP, along with an exchange program at Pohang University of Science and Technology.
