Shantanu Roy

Shantanu Roy holds extensive experience in leadership roles within the engineering and heavy machinery sectors. Currently serving as the Chairman & Managing Director at BEML LTD., Shantanu Roy has previously held positions such as Director of the Mining & Construction Business and Executive Director. Prior to this, Shantanu Roy worked at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited as an Additional General Manager in International Operations for Marketing. Shantanu Roy completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from the National Institute of Technology Raipur, graduating in 1991, and attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1975 to 1986.
