Behrouz Moemeni has worked as the CEO of BeMo Academic Consulting Inc. since April 2013. In this role, they are dedicated to changing the education system and providing access to higher education through admissions and educational training programs. Additionally, they have been the CEO of SortSmart Candidate Selection Inc. starting in September 2017. At SortSmart, they are focused on developing admissions screening technology that improves accuracy and reduces cost and time compared to traditional screening methods, while also promoting diversity.
Behrouz Moemeni earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Toronto, attending from 2001 to 2005. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology from the same university, completing their studies from 2008 to 2013.
