Jay Tandan is the US Digital Marketing Manager at Ben & Jerry's, a position they have held since May 2017. In this role, they collaborate with departments including PR, Brand, Web, Social Mission, and Design teams to drive digital first campaigns. Jay also leads the strategy and communications for all digital touchpoints for the company’s external facing work including product and activism campaigns. Tandan is responsible for US digital governance within a cross-functional team as well as digital innovation including digital activism. Jay leverages social media, content production, CRM, SEO, SEM, digital media, and .com to deliver omni-channel campaigns driving both sales and advocacy actions.
Before their current role, Tandan served as the Assistant Global Activism Manager at Ben & Jerry's from June 2016 to May 2017. In this role, they drove the company's progressive values through fan facing activism campaigns, business stakeholder and NGO engagement, and digital content creation. Jay also leveraged emerging technology to support delivery of the company's Social Mission. Tandan successfully scaled Digital Activism throughout a global organization to create a campaigns team within an ice cream company.
Jay Tandan completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont, where they majored in environmental studies.
