Sunil Vakayil

Sunil Vakayil is the current Chair of the Management Development Centre at Loyola Institute of Business Administration. Sunil has also previously worked as an assistant professor at Karunya University, regional head at Sun Direct TV Pvt Ltd, and zonal manager at Airtel. In their most recent position before Loyola, they were the channel lead at Reliance Infocomm Limited.

Vakayil has over 25 years of experience in sales and management. Sunil began their career as a sales officer at Titan Company Limited in 1997 and then moved to Nikki International as a manager in 2000. In 2004, they joined Airtel as a zonal manager before moving to Reliance Infocomm Limited in 2002.

At Loyola, Vakayil has been instrumental in developing and implementing the institute's management development programs. Sunil is also a faculty member of the Department of Management Studies, where they teach courses on Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management.

Sunil Vakayil has earned a master of business administration from Dr. Harisingh Gour University (Sagar University), a master's degree from Govt Engg College, and a doctorate in philosophy from Jiwaji University. Sunil has also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya, Carmel Convent School, Model Science College Gwalior MP, and School of Architecture and Planning at Govt. Engineering College Thrissur.

Their manager is Joe Arun, Director, LIBA. They work with M. J. Xavier - Chair, Management Development Center, Aravindh Kumaran - Chair, Placement & Training, and Louie Albert - Dean, Administration.
